Cleanergy is seeking a dedicated LPG Site Operator to oversee the safe, efficient, and customer-oriented operation of our LPG filling site in Lusaka, Zambia. Role Overview – LPG Site Operator Jobs in Lusaka

As the LPG Site Operator, you will be responsible for managing the entire LPG cylinder filling process, assisting customers, maintaining site safety and cleanliness, handling payments, and managing inventory. Your role is critical to ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering positive customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Care: Welcome and assist customers, provide product information, advise on safe transportation and storage of LPG cylinders, and handle complaints professionally.
• Operations: Safely manage LPG cylinder filling, inspect cylinders for damage, maintain equipment, record daily transactions, and keep the site orderly.
• Payments: Process cash payments, maintain accurate payment records, reconcile daily payments, and manage petty cash.
• Safety and Compliance: Monitor adherence to safety protocols, conduct inspections, train staff on safety procedures, maintain incident records, and ensure all safety equipment is functional.
• Inventory Control: Track LPG cylinders and accessories, order and store stock properly, assist with loading/unloading, verify deliveries, and maintain stock records.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on filling equipment and storage tanks, report malfunctions, and keep maintenance logs updated.
• Sales and Marketing Support: Assist in promoting LPG products, design and distribute promotional materials, support sales events and community outreach, and gather customer feedback.

Candidate Requirements and Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Certification or training in LPG handling, gas operations, or related fields is advantageous.
• Experience in operations, customer service, or retail is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate a three-wheeler vehicle is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a high level of integrity.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn equipment handling.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work responsibly.
• Good record-keeping and basic computer literacy.
• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness to safely lift and move LPG cylinders using proper techniques.
