Key Responsibilities for Loan Officer Jobs in Lusaka

• Business Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with auto collateral loan clients, whether with GPS tracking or physical vehicle impound, meeting monthly and quarterly loan disbursement targets.
• Channel Expansion: Develop partnerships with used car dealerships, auto finance firms, insurance agents, and auto repair shops to secure consistent client acquisition channels.
• Due Diligence: Perform initial client screenings including vehicle appraisals, credit assessments, repayment capacity evaluations, and verification of loan purpose authenticity.
• Post-Loan Management: Monitor loan repayments and manage collections to ensure portfolio health.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• At least two years’ experience in auto collateral lending, auto finance, leasing, pawnshops, or related sectors.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with proficiency in operating common vehicle models.
• Preferably equipped with established networks in used car dealerships, agencies, or car owner communities.
• Strong knowledge of market trends for mainstream vehicle models to conduct accurate appraisals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build trust and close deals efficiently.
• Heightened risk awareness to identify and mitigate potential fraud risks.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: K5,000
• Commission: Tiered commission ranging from 5% to 8% of generated business revenue.
