Role Overview for Loan Officer Intern Jobs in Kitwe

As a Loan Officer Intern, you will support the Loan Officer team by assisting with loan applications, conducting basic credit assessments, and maintaining accurate client records. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the microfinance industry while contributing to excellent customer service at the Kitwe branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing loan applications and preparing necessary documentation
• Perform basic credit assessments and analyze relevant data
• Support loan disbursement processes and follow up on repayments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports
• Deliver outstanding customer service at the Kitwe branch
• Participate in marketing and field activities as required

Minimum Requirements

• Age 25 years or below
• Fresh graduate from a recognized university or college
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in microfinance
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
