About the Loan Consultant Roles in Solwezi

As a Loan Consultant with Broadleaf Credit Limited, you will play a critical role in sourcing, assessing, and processing loan applications while fostering strong client relationships. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively promote loan products, ensure compliance with lending policies, and support loan recovery efforts within the local Solwezi market.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate loan applications from prospective clients to determine eligibility.
• Conduct client due diligence and perform basic credit risk assessments.
• Promote Broadleaf Credit Limited’s loan offerings to expand the client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and resolving inquiries promptly.
• Follow up on loan repayments to support timely recovery and portfolio health.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Achieve assigned sales, disbursement, and portfolio performance targets.
• Ensure adherence to company lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports on client activity, loan applications, and portfolio performance.
• Conduct market outreach to identify new business opportunities in Solwezi and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in sales, lending, microfinance, banking, or a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the local business environment in Solwezi.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated sales and business development capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance targets.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Must be based in Solwezi or willing to relocate.
