  • School of Business, Information and Technology:
    • Lecturers for Bachelor of Accounting and Finance

Key Responsibilities for Lecturer Jobs in Lusaka

  • Deliver course units as assigned, using approved syllabi and course guides.
  • Develop and improve academic content and curricula aligned with university standards.
  • Employ modern, student-centered teaching methods including active learning, case studies, and blended learning.
  • Mentor and guide students, maintaining regular office hours for academic support.
  • Engage in research, attend conferences, publish findings, and seek research funding.
  • Participate in academic administration, quality assurance, and community service initiatives.
  • For Law lecturers: contribute to legal aid programs and foster partnerships with legal institutions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree (minimum 18 months with research component) relevant to the discipline, with PhD enrollment or readiness preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree with credit or equivalent in the relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Diploma in Teaching Methodology from an accredited institution.
  • Proven ability to conduct research and supervise student projects.
  • Alignment with government qualification requirements and three favorable referees’ reports.
  • Tertiary teaching experience preferred; industry experience is an advantage.
