Position Overview: Land Surveyor Jobs in Lusaka

As a Land Surveyor with GROUP OF COMPANIES, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land boundaries, contours, and features. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys to establish property boundaries and identify land features
• Operate surveying instruments such as GPS devices, total stations, and levels with proficiency
• Prepare comprehensive survey reports, maps, plats, and legal descriptions for project documentation
• Analyze collected data using CAD software to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to align survey data with project requirements
• Set out construction works including buildings, roads, and infrastructure according to design specifications
• Maintain detailed records of survey data and field notes for future reference and legal purposes
• Ensure all surveying activities adhere to local laws, regulations, and safety protocols

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient in surveying software such as AutoCAD and GIS tools
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities to interpret complex data accurately
• Demonstrated capability in operating modern surveying instruments effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work well within multidisciplinary teams
• Mid-level experience with 3 to 5 years in both field and office surveying roles
• Must be a resident of Lusaka and available to start work immediately
