Role Overview for Lab Technician Jobs in Shibuyunji

Successful applicants will be responsible for performing laboratory and field testing on various construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. You will ensure that all testing complies with approved standards and procedures, supporting the quality control and assurance processes critical to project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and onsite testing of construction materials to determine compliance with specifications.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze samples according to established testing protocols.
• Accurately record and maintain detailed laboratory test results and reports.
• Calibrate, maintain, and safely operate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable results.
• Assist project teams by providing timely test reports to engineers and management.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and adhere to safety and environmental standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Project Engineer.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in construction materials testing.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory testing equipment and interpreting results accurately.
• Competent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical report writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
