Position Overview for Kitchen Staff Jobs in Monze

As a Kitchen Staff member, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals, ensuring an efficient kitchen workflow, and supporting daily culinary operations. This full-time position requires working collaboratively with the front-of-house team to guarantee timely and accurate food delivery to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare ingredients, operate kitchen equipment, and cook dishes following established recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Order Efficiency & Quality Control: Process order tickets promptly, uphold high food quality standards, and coordinate seamlessly with cashiers and servers to ensure smooth order handoffs.
• Operations and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, perform routine cleaning tasks, rotate stock using FIFO principles, and comply with all food safety and health regulations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Attention to Detail: Follow recipes accurately, maintain quality standards, and accommodate specific order modifications.
• Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Efficiency and Multitasking: Work quickly and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously under pressure.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen colleagues and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Full Certificate
• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, fast-food outlet, or restaurant is preferred
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations; Food Handler Certification is an advantage
