Inventory Manager Position – Inventory Manager Jobs in Kawambwa

The Inventory Manager will lead all inventory operations at the Kawambwa farm and factory setup, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal levels through effective use of SAP software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels across both farm and factory environments
• Maintain precise stock records utilizing SAP (mandatory)
• Implement and oversee inventory control procedures, including regular audits
• Coordinate stock movements, transfers, and reconciliation processes
• Prevent stock discrepancies, wastage, and losses through proactive management
• Prepare detailed inventory reports for senior management review
• Collaborate closely with procurement, stores, and operations teams to optimize workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory management
• Proven expertise in SAP inventory management is critical
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong analytical abilities and leadership skills

Storekeeper Role – Opportunities in Inventory and Store Management

The Storekeeper will oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of farm materials and imported equipment essential for the sugar factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming farm supplies and equipment
• Maintain proper inventory records and ensure best storage practices
• Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions
• Monitor and track imported equipment for factory installation
• Ensure careful stock handling to prevent loss or damage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within store facilities
• Coordinate effectively with procurement and logistics teams

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of storekeeping experience, preferably in agricultural or industrial environments
• Professional membership in a relevant body is advantageous
• Knowledge of inventory systems and stock control practices
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
