Position Overview: Inventory Handler Jobs in Lusaka

As an Inventory Handler at Nemchem International Limited, you will be responsible for managing warehouse stock with precision and care. This includes organizing products according to the warehouse layout, conducting cycle counts, and performing periodic physical stock takes. You will also assist with barcode labeling, accurately pick orders based on inventory requisitions and sales order slips, and palletize outgoing shipments. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to all safety protocols is essential. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize products efficiently following the warehouse layout
• Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits
• Assist with barcode labeling and inventory documentation
• Pick and prepare orders accurately based on requisitions and sales orders
• Palletize shipments for dispatch
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse
• Follow all established safety protocols diligently
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail to ensure stock accuracy
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology
• Capacity to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Minimum educational requirement: Grade 12 pass including Mathematics and English
