About ZAEPD and the Consultancy Role

The Zambia Association on Employment for Persons with Disabilities (ZAEPD) is a registered Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD), recognized under the Registrar of Societies Act. Affiliated with ZAPD and ZAFOD, and supported by the NAD-CADiR Consortium Project, ZAEPD champions inclusive education and human rights initiatives.

ZAEPD seeks an expert consultant to design a comprehensive Resource Mobilization Strategy and Manual. This tool will empower the organization to effectively secure funding and sustain programs that benefit persons with disabilities, with special attention to intellectual disabilities.

Scope of Work for Independent Consultancy Jobs in Lusaka

• Review current resource mobilization practices at ZAEPD.
• Develop a tailored and practical resource mobilization strategy/manual aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide actionable tools and clear guidelines to facilitate implementation.
• Deliver the final manual and conduct a detailed briefing session with ZAEPD staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, or a related discipline.
• At least six years of proven experience in resource mobilization, disability employment rights, inclusive development, or self-employment initiatives.
• Demonstrated practical expertise is essential; theoretical knowledge alone will not suffice.
