About the IMS Coordinator Role

As an IMS Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and ongoing compliance of Reliant Mining’s Integrated Management Systems. This full-time position requires a proactive individual capable of conducting detailed audits, identifying compliance gaps, and collaborating across departments to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities for IMS Coordinator Jobs in Zambia

Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to identify gaps and compliance issues within IMS frameworks.
Document non-conformances accurately and recommend practical improvements to enhance system effectiveness.
Collaborate with various departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) that support compliance.
Perform regular field visits, including underground inspections, to verify adherence to IMS standards and company policies.
Ensure all activities align with established company procedures and relevant ISO standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required

A degree in Mining, Civil, Industrial, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Possession of a valid Silicosis Certificate.
Solid knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation, interpretation, and monitoring of Integrated Management Systems.
Familiarity with conducting internal and external audits.
Experience delivering training programs related to IMS is considered an advantage.
