Beatmas Human Resource Consultants Limited (BHRC) is currently recruiting for a Human Resource Specialist to be stationed on-site at a client’s premises in Lusaka, Zambia. About the Role – Human Resource Specialist Jobs in Lusaka
As the Human Resource Specialist, you will serve as the primary HR contact on-site, managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and staff development. This role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day HR functions, ensuring adherence to Zambian labour laws and fostering a productive workplace environment within an industrial and logistics setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding of site staff aligned with operational requirements.
- Manage employee relations, discipline, and grievance processes as the on-site HR representative.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Code Act No. 3 of 2019 and other relevant labour regulations.
- Administer payroll inputs, attendance, leave tracking, and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Coordinate training programs, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
- Support health, safety, and industrial relations practices appropriate for the industrial/logistics environment.
- Liaise with statutory bodies including NAPSA, NHIMA, ZRA, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security on employee matters.
- Prepare and submit regular HR reports to BHRC and client management teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ practical HR experience, preferably within industrial, logistics, or warehousing sectors.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian labour and employment laws.
