The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resource Manager to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that align with company objectives. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing the full spectrum of HR functions to foster a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Human Resource Manager to develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Coordinate the department’s Training and Development initiatives to enhance staff skills and performance.
• Oversee and review the performance appraisal system to ensure timely and effective employee evaluations.
• Provide expert advice to management on labor law compliance and interpretation.
• Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs to guarantee prompt salary and benefits payments.
• Maintain and manage employee contracts and personnel records with confidentiality and accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of a Degree in Human Resource Management or a related Social Science field, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
• At least five years of practical experience in a similar HR role, demonstrating competence in managing the complete HR cycle from recruitment to employee separation.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
• Membership in the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZHRIM) is mandatory.
