About the Human Resource Manager Role
As a Human Resource Manager at LAKE TRANS LOGISTICS LIMITED, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining effective HR practices tailored to a logistics and transport environment. This full-time position demands a results-oriented leader who can develop policies, manage recruitment and retention, and ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities for Human Resource Manager Jobs in Ndola
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
- Manage recruitment processes, onboarding, and strategies to enhance employee retention.
- Address disciplinary actions, grievances, and foster positive employee relations.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Employment Code Act and other applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate performance management systems and staff development initiatives.
- Oversee payroll administration and manage employee benefits effectively.
- Support organizational development and workforce planning alongside management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in human resource management, preferably within logistics, transport, or fleet management sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Zambian labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
