Position Overview: Human Resource Manager at CCM

As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing all HR activities to support the company’s workforce. You will be responsible for developing HR policies, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and statutory requirements. This position demands a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills and a thorough understanding of the Zambian labour environment.

Key Responsibilities for Human Resource Manager Jobs in Chingola

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage accurate employee records, payroll inputs, and leave administration efficiently.
  • Address disciplinary issues and foster positive employee relations to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Coordinate staff training programs and conduct performance evaluations to support employee development.
  • Ensure full compliance with Zambian labour laws, including NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the mining or industrial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Active membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Silicosis Certificate.
  • Grade 12 Certificate and an updated curriculum vitae.
