Human Resource and Chinese Translator Jobs in Masaiti: Key Responsibilities

HR Manager

Lead full-cycle recruitment for construction, technical, and manufacturing personnel.
Develop workforce planning strategies for both construction and operational phases.
Design and implement HR policies aligned with Zambian labour laws.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including NAPSA, NHIMA, and workers’ regulations.
Manage employee onboarding, contracts, records, and general HR administration.
Handle employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
Prepare HR reports and provide strategic advice to senior management.

Chinese Translator

Provide accurate verbal interpretation during meetings, site visits, and business engagements.
Facilitate communication between Chinese management, staff, clients, and partners.
Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Support administrative and operational teams with language-related tasks.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Qualifications and Experience for Human Resource and Chinese Translator Jobs in Masaiti

For HR Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
Chinese language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
At least 5 years’ experience in HR, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven track record recruiting for construction and manufacturing environments.
In-depth knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices.
Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing certificate.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Age range: 30 to 48 years.

For Chinese Translator

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Diploma or degree in Translation, Chinese Studies, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Strong understanding of cultural nuances and business communication.
Professionalism and high accuracy in translation tasks.

Additional Positions Available

Winco Industries is also hiring for Crane Operators, Front End Loader Drivers, Welders, and Bricklayers to support the factory’s construction and operational requirements. Interested candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Remuneration and Benefits

Winco Industries offers competitive salary packages commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Masaiti District. Preference will be given to applicants from Ndola, Kapiri, and Masaiti areas.
