Key Responsibilities for HR Officer Jobs in Siavonga

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Kariba Harvest Limited’s vision and business objectives.
• Support recruitment and selection by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws, company policies, and regulations.
• Assist in designing and delivering training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
• Provide guidance to managers and staff on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
• Manage employee benefits, overtime calculations, timesheets, payroll processing, and leave administration.
• Continuously review HR processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience in an HR role, with sound knowledge of HR best practices and Zambian labour legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and address employee concerns effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Micropay and other relevant HR management systems.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM) is required.
