Role Overview: Graphic Designer Jobs in Lusaka

As a Graphic Designer at Makani Studio, you will be an integral part of our creative team, contributing to diverse branding and multimedia projects. This is a one-year contract position with a three-month probation period, offering a monthly take-home salary ranging from ZMW 2,000 to 2,500.

Key Responsibilities

• Design marketing and promotional materials such as flyers, posters, brochures, and social media content
• Develop brand identity assets including logos, brand guidelines, and visual systems
• Create engaging digital content for clients across various industries
• Support video production and motion graphics projects
• Design UI/UX layouts for websites and digital platforms
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop campaign concepts and visual strategies
• Prepare print-ready artwork and digital exports adhering to professional standards
• Maintain organized project files and consistently meet deadlines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro is an advantage
• Strong skills in typography, layout, and branding
• Understanding of social media design trends and digital marketing visuals
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail combined with creativity
