About the Geologist Role

As a Geologist at Trade Zone Limited, you will play a critical role in supporting our exploration and resource evaluation projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting geological mapping, sampling, and core logging, as well as interpreting technical reports and resource estimates. You will ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards, and contribute to the company’s GIS database by accurately surveying, mapping, and recording geological data.

Key Responsibilities for Geologist Jobs in Lusaka

• Perform geological mapping, sampling, and core logging with precision and accuracy.
• Interpret geochemical and geophysical data to identify potential ore targets.
• Review and analyze technical reports and resource estimates to support decision-making.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Plan and execute quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols.
• Survey, map, sample, and document geological data within the company’s GIS system.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 with five (5) “O” Level passes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field.
• Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) is mandatory.
• At least two years of professional experience working as a Geologist.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated knowledge of geological modelling and problem-solving techniques.
