We are currently recruiting for two contract trainee positions: one Fleet Maintenance Trainee based in Chambishi and one Fleet Management Trainee in Kitwe, Copperbelt, Zambia.

Fleet Management Trainee Role – Kitwe

As a Fleet Management Trainee in Kitwe, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient coordination and tracking of our fleet operations. This position demands a proactive individual capable of managing vehicle movements and supporting transport operations to maintain seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor vehicles in transit and provide timely tracking updates
• Assist in fleet coordination and transport operations management
• Prepare daily fleet movement and performance reports
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods
• Support monitoring of fuel consumption and vehicle performance
• Understand and assist with fuel management processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics or a related discipline
• Fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Transport and Logistics (ZITL)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer literacy is an advantage
• Experience in transport and logistics is beneficial

Fleet Maintenance Trainee Position – Chambishi

The Fleet Maintenance Trainee based in Chambishi will be responsible for overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring all fleet vehicles remain in optimal condition. This role supports repair coordination and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage vehicle maintenance schedules and servicing
• Ensure vehicles are in good operating condition at all times
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with service providers
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Assist in compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Maintain tyre management records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics or related field
• Full membership with the Zambia Institute of Transport and Logistics (ZITL)
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Computer literacy is advantageous
• Experience in transport and logistics is a plus
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory
• Fresh university graduates are encouraged to apply
