About the Fitment Center Mechanic Role

As a Fitment Center Mechanic at Limefit Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ vehicles. Our workshop is located along Burma Road, opposite the National House of Prayer, providing a professional environment equipped with modern tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities for Fitment Center Mechanic Jobs in Lusaka

• Diagnose and repair vehicle suspension systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Market Limefit’s automotive services directly to customers, enhancing client engagement.
• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and general mechanical inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Perform precise wheel alignment and wheel balancing services using specialized equipment.
• Fit, replace, and maintain vehicle tyres with attention to safety and quality.
• Inspect tyres, wheels, brakes, and related components for safety, wear, and compliance.
• Provide professional, efficient, and courteous customer service at all times.
• Supervise fitment technician assistants, ensuring adherence to workshop standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment in line with company policies.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and operational procedures to promote workplace safety.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalent academic qualification.
• Certified Motor Vehicle Mechanic with a craft certificate or at least three years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in vehicle servicing, suspension repairs, tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and balancing.
• Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes and models, particularly Toyotas and commonly used vehicles in Zambia.
• Proficiency in operating workshop machinery such as wheel balancing machines and tyre-fitting equipment safely.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate within the workshop environment.
• Honest, reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy with a commitment to quality service delivery.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high customer service standards.
