About the Finance Manager Role

As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the hotel’s financial health. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes while ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of ZMW 300,000 to ZMW 420,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations, including cash management and accounting controls.
• Lead the preparation and oversight of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Support revenue monitoring and cost control initiatives across hotel departments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory financial requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles; experience in hotel or hospitality finance is advantageous.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA are preferred.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and maintaining internal controls.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
