Yalelo Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Feed Logistics & Warehouse Superintendent to join our team in Siavonga, Southern Zambia. This full-time position focuses on overseeing and coordinating all feed shed, warehouse, and lake-based feed operations to ensure accurate receiving, safe storage, efficient issuance, and proper documentation of feed. Key Responsibilities for Feed Logistics Warehouse Superintendent Jobs in Siavonga

• Warehouse Operations Management: Coordinate daily receiving, storage, and issuance of feed aligned with production and distribution schedules. Maintain safety stock levels in collaboration with the lake operations team.
• Implement proper feed rotation methods (FIFO/FEFO) to prevent spoilage and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the warehouse management system.
• Conduct routine inspections to verify correct stacking, segregation, and labeling of feed products.
• Maintain excellent warehouse practices including cleaning, pest control, and access management.
• Lake Feed Movement: Oversee daily transfer of feed from land to lake and from lake storehouses to feed platforms, ensuring accurate inventory records for all barges.
• Manage staffing levels and enforce accountability for all personnel involved in feed movement at the harbour and on the lake.
• Address underperformance and disciplinary issues promptly following company procedures.
• Stock Control & Reporting: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in cooperation with Finance and Production teams.
• Generate regular reports detailing stock consumption, balances, trends, and identify slow-moving or at-risk inventory.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with Production, Logistics providers, feed suppliers, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations and communicate feed issuance plans and stock availability.
• Support operational planning by providing accurate inventory and consumption data.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Full Grade 12 certificate.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, stock management, logistics, or a similar role. Experience in aquaculture farming is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven leadership capabilities to supervise and coordinate daily operations and large teams.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments and external partners.
• Ability to plan and direct large-scale diversified farm activities, including supervising skilled and unskilled workers.
• Competence in maintaining accurate records of time, production, and costs, and preparing reports with recommendations for process improvements.
• Advanced computer literacy and numerical aptitude.
