Sinomine Kitumba Minerals Company Limited, a leading integrated mining and copper processing operation located in Mumbwa District, Central Province, is currently seeking qualified and experienced professionals for excavator operators jobs in Mumbwa. • Loader Operators: 9 positions

Excavator Operators – Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Successful Excavator Operators will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery, including CAT 330, Komatsu, or Hitachi excavators. Responsibilities include excavating, moving, and loading ore and waste rock into trucks while adhering to strict safety standards.

• Possess a Grade 12 School Certificate
• Hold a valid Excavator Operator Licence or Ticket of Competence
• Have 2 to 4 years of experience operating heavy excavators in mining or quarry environments
• Demonstrate knowledge of loading blasted rock and ore into dump trucks
• Possess a valid Silicosis Certificate
• Be able to pass medical examinations
• Hold a valid Driver’s Licence (Class C preferred)
• Exhibit strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment inspections

Loader Operators – Role Overview and Candidate Profile

Loader Operators will be responsible for operating front-end loaders to transport copper ore, waste rock, and other materials in compliance with mining safety regulations. Candidates must be capable of performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

• Possess a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Hold a valid Operator’s Licence or Competency Certificate for front-end loaders
• Have 2 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in mining or industrial environments
• Possess valid Silicosis and First Aid Certificates
• Hold a valid Driver’s Licence (Class C or higher preferred)
• Ability to conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
• Familiarity with loaders such as LiuGong and CAT models
• Willingness to work long hours and shifts under demanding conditions
