Key Responsibilities for Employee Relations Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka

• Manage all significant employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, workplace disputes, and grievances.
• Prepare and issue warning letters and disciplinary documentation in full compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Represent KEDA Ceramics Zambia in labor office proceedings and coordinate case handling with relevant authorities.
• Ensure HR practices align with Zambian labor laws and internal company policies.
• Conduct training sessions for supervisors and employees on company policies, disciplinary procedures, and labor law compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee relations cases.
• Analyze trends in employee relations and recommend preventive measures to senior management.
• Promptly address violations such as theft or non-compliance with leave procedures, providing professional recommendations for follow-up actions.
• Maintain impartiality and enforce company policies fairly and decisively, without bias or undue influence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employee relations, including approximately 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated experience working in large-scale manufacturing environments (approximately 500 employees).
• Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and dispute resolution methods.
• Strong skills in communication, investigation, and problem-solving.
