Role Overview: Employee Engagement Coordinator Jobs in Lusaka

Reporting to the Lead HR and Care Specialist, this full-time position based in Lusaka involves designing and executing creative engagement initiatives that unite our internal teams and co-employed professionals worldwide. You will champion a vibrant, inclusive community that bridges cultures and geographies through innovative programs and communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engagement initiatives, virtual events, and interest groups to connect remote employees.
• Promote inclusivity by ensuring company communications and cultural programs celebrate diversity and accessibility.
• Lead the employee survey process, including pulse surveys and eNPS, analyze feedback, and implement culture-enhancing strategies.
• Collaborate with onboarding teams to deliver a welcoming and effective orientation experience for remote hires.
• Oversee and enhance rewards and recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding contributions.
• Create engaging internal communications for newsletters, Slack/Teams channels, and internal platforms to inspire and align teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR, People Operations, Internal Communications, or Event Management; experience in remote-first or Employer of Record environments is a plus.
• Strong community-building skills paired with high emotional intelligence to connect authentically with diverse individuals.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
• Deep cultural awareness and curiosity about cross-border communication and time zone differences.
• Highly organized self-starter comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects from concept to global implementation.
