About the Electronics Electrical Technician Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and electrical power networks. This includes working on communications, lighting, and control systems within domestic residences, commercial premises, and factory settings. The role demands a hands-on approach to ensure operational efficiency and timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities for Electronics Electrical Technician Jobs in Lusaka

• Set up and commission electronic systems and devices efficiently.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose faults in electronic components and systems.
• Repair circuit malfunctions and structural system defects.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in domestic and commercial systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and system monitoring.
• Utilize various testing devices to identify electronic and electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• College diploma or equivalent qualification in both electronics and electrical engineering.
• At least five years of practical experience in electronics and electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with Grain Milling Equipment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience installing electronic and electrical panels.
• Work experience in both commercial and residential environments is strongly preferred.
