Key Responsibilities for Duty Electrician Jobs in Ndola

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs to ensure a steady and reliable supply of water and electricity.
• Assist in the periodic construction, renovation, and upgrading of water and electrical systems.
• Conduct daily inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to promptly identify and resolve faults or defects.
• Manage and maintain repair tools and equipment, ensuring they remain in a safe, clean, and operational condition.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong foundation in electrical engineering theory with proven skills in water and electricity maintenance and installation.
• High safety awareness with the ability to anticipate and identify potential equipment hazards.
• Experience in repairing switch circuits and managing unexpected malfunctions effectively.
• Demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward overcoming challenges.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, safe operation, and troubleshooting of generators, photovoltaic systems, water heaters, transformers, water pumps, and related equipment.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and construction standards, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Preferences

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in construction engineering installation, maintenance, and management of water and electrical systems within residential, enterprise, or factory environments.
• Paid membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia is required.
• Willingness to reside on-site at company yards or construction locations during project periods.
• Residency in Ndola or willingness to relocate is essential.

Additional Information

Please note that assessments and interviews will be conducted in person at our Sakania Office in Ndola. Salary packages are negotiable and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
