As a Data Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate documentation, cleaning, and analysis of data collected from field activities. Your efforts will directly contribute to effective project monitoring, reporting, and informed decision-making at Community Climate Solutions Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and validate data sets to detect errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and duplicates.
• Perform routine data quality checks and address identified data gaps.
• Prepare data summaries, tables, charts, and basic reports to support project teams.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records of project data.
• Assist field staff with basic data-related inquiries.
• Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly project data reports.
• Conduct basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel or other relevant tools.
• Ensure confidentiality and responsible handling of program and beneficiary information.
• Support the data team with additional data management tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Recent graduate holding a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mathematics, Economics, Development Studies, Demography, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Sheets for data handling.
• Basic familiarity with statistical tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Power BI, or similar software platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information effectively.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
