About the Data Analytics Intern Role

Reporting directly to the Data Analyst, the intern will assist in managing underwriting exposure data to enhance its completeness and usability for portfolio analysis, catastrophe modelling, and regular reporting. Qualifications and Skills Required

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Experience working with spreadsheets and structured data through academic projects, internships, or volunteer work.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization; exposure to Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Python is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and willingness to learn and collaborate effectively.
• Prior experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or data quality roles is beneficial but not required.
