The successful candidate will operate a 75 Ton crane to safely lift heavy equipment, construction materials, and machinery essential to the ongoing power station project. This role demands strict adherence to safety protocols and close collaboration with site supervisors and teams to ensure efficient and secure lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 75 Ton crane for various lifting tasks on site
• Conduct thorough daily inspections of the crane prior to use
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with site safety standards
• Perform basic maintenance checks and promptly report mechanical issues
• Collaborate with supervisors and site personnel to complete lifting assignments safely
• Strictly follow company safety regulations and construction site policies

Candidate Requirements

• Male candidates preferred, aged between 35 and 45 years
• Valid crane operating licence recognized in Zambia
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience operating heavy cranes
• Experience on large construction, industrial, or power station projects is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and site safety procedures
• Responsible, disciplined, mature, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to construction site schedules and overtime as required
• Immediate availability is highly desirable

Working Hours and Conditions

This position operates on a split-shift schedule with the following hours:

• Morning Shift: 07:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift: 01:30 PM – 05:30 PM

As this is an active construction site, work schedules are subject to project progress, and fixed days off are not guaranteed. Occasional night overtime may be required, with overtime allowances paid separately.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from ZMW 17,000 to ZMW 20,000, based on experience and qualifications
