About the Consumer Affairs Intern Position

This internship is initially for a period of five months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Consumer Affairs Officer for the Northern Region and will play a vital role in assisting with administrative and consumer support functions.

Key Responsibilities for Consumer Affairs Intern Jobs in Kasama

• Assist with the recording, filing, and management of consumer affairs documents.
• Manage front desk operations, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and stakeholders.
• Provide support during stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Assist in processing consumer complaints, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Consumer Affairs Officer.

Minimum Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma in Public Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related Social Science or Business course.
• Applicants preferably residing in Kasama to facilitate smooth engagement with local stakeholders.
• Graduation date must be on or after 1st January 2023.
