About the Client Services Representative Role
As a Client Services Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This position requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can maintain seamless communication between clients and internal departments. Your responsibilities will include conducting client visits, managing policy renewals, facilitating premium payments, and providing clear explanations of insurance quotations and policies.
Key Responsibilities in Client Services Representative Jobs in Zambia
- Engage clients proactively to secure renewals before policy expiry dates.
- Negotiate and confirm payment terms, ensuring signed agreements precede confirmation of cover.
- Deliver physical policy documents and provide detailed explanations of policy coverage.
- Collect premiums according to agreed payment plans.
- Address clients’ insurance requirements after policy placement.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and maintain updated KYC forms and client dashboards.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to review service quality and monitor any outstanding claims.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to maintain high client satisfaction levels.
- Encourage clients to utilise the client portal for easy access to policies and claims reporting.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Practical working knowledge of insurance products and processes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Disciplined approach to email management and documentation.
