The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting daily tile production operations by assisting the Factory Line Manager in supervising staff, coordinating activities, and facilitating seamless communication through translation between Chinese and English.

Role Overview for Chinese Translator Jobs in Lusaka

As a Chinese Translator and Production Line Assistant Manager, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our tile manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production line staff, ensuring operational targets are met, and maintaining accurate production documentation. This position demands a proactive approach to supporting quality and safety standards within the factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Line Manager in supervising and managing production line personnel.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet operational objectives and deadlines.
• Translate and interpret communications between Chinese and English to enhance workplace collaboration.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain production-related documents, reports, and records.
• Support the enforcement of production quality and safety protocols.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated by the Factory Line Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English is essential.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
• Competency with basic computer applications and office software.
