Role Overview for Chinese Chef Jobs in Lusaka

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering authentic Chinese culinary experiences, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This full-time position offers an exciting chance to apply your culinary skills in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including noodles, rice, and specialty BBQ items, demonstrating strong expertise in Chinese cuisine.
• Plan menus that consider budget constraints and seasonal ingredient availability.
• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food service.
• Manage procurement of food supplies and maintain inventory of ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Enforce strict safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the kitchen environment.
• Develop new recipes to keep the menu innovative and aligned with industry trends.
• Respond to customer feedback and continuously improve food offerings and kitchen processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience in Chinese cuisine.
• Certification in Hospitality or Food Production from a recognized institution is an advantage.
