About the Chief Executive Officer Role

The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and oversee sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability across the company’s key business units: Bulk Oil, Cold Chain, Dry Goods, and Feedstock. This role demands a results-driven executive capable of steering the organisation through innovation and market expansion while maintaining strong financial discipline and governance.

Key Responsibilities for Chief Executive Officer Jobs in Lusaka

• Lead the execution of the company’s strategic plan to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

• Oversee growth and optimisation of the Cold Chain, Bulk Oil, Dry Goods, and Feedstock units through innovation and customer-centric solutions.

• Ensure sound financial management by achieving sustainable revenue growth, optimising costs, and managing resources prudently.

• Build and inspire a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, regulators, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Report regularly to the Board of Directors on strategic, operational, and financial performance with recommendations to support long-term sustainability and shareholder value.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Agribusiness, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of relevant management experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Executive or Senior Management roles, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, agribusiness, retail, or distribution sectors.
• Proven track record of driving business growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and organisational transformation.
