About the Role: Chef Jobs in Lusaka

- Modify recipes to meet special dietary needs including allergies and dietary restrictions
- Supervise daily kitchen operations: prep, service, and cleaning
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Enforce strict food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
- Manage proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Address customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintain efficiency and quality during busy service periods
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working as a chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and procedures
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
