About the Camp General Hand Role in Lower Zambezi

As a Camp General Hand at Lolebezi Safari Camp, you will report directly to the Head of Maintenance. Your primary responsibilities will focus on maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the camp’s facilities and grounds, ensuring the environment remains welcoming and pristine for our guests. This full-time position demands a proactive approach to daily tasks and a commitment to working in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough cleanliness of all assigned swimming pools, including main and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure gardens are regularly watered and kept in excellent condition.
  • Report any breakages, losses, or maintenance issues promptly to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Complete all assigned daily duties efficiently and reliably.
  • Manage the proper disposal of refuse and waste to uphold camp hygiene standards.

Candidate Requirements for Camp General Hand Jobs in Lower Zambezi

  • Possession of a full Grade 12 certificate.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively within the team.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a remote safari environment with limited access to urban amenities.

Please note: This position is based in a remote safari location with limited connectivity and urban conveniences. Candidates must be comfortable living and working under such conditions for extended periods.
