Role Overview: Cabin Crew Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka
The Cabin Services Supervisor will oversee all aspects of cabin operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company policies while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Acting as a Senior Cabin Crew member, you will lead and support cabin crew teams during all phases of flight, including routine and emergency situations. Your responsibilities will extend to crew scheduling, welfare, training coordination, and performance management, all aimed at delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cabin crew on assigned flights, providing guidance during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, aviation safety regulations, and customer service protocols.
- Monitor cabin crew performance, conduct, and productivity; provide constructive feedback and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate crew scheduling with relevant personnel, managing availability, leave, and operational coverage.
- Track crew qualifications, training validity, and compliance to regulatory requirements, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify and facilitate training programs including initial, recurrent, and corrective sessions.
- Review safety and service reports, oversee corrective measures, and escalate urgent issues appropriately.
- Support crew welfare initiatives, resolve workplace conflicts, and promote effective communication within the team.
- Enhance onboard service delivery, ensuring passenger satisfaction and timely resolution of concerns.
- Contribute to workforce planning, policy development, and continuous improvement of cabin safety and service standards.
- Perform various administrative and supervisory duties to support organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality Management, Customer Service, Tourism, or related fields.
- At least three years’ experience as cabin crew, including supervisory or senior roles.
- Valid certifications in Cabin Crew, Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP), and First Aid.
- Proven experience in cabin crew management, flight operations, and aviation regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Extensive knowledge of customer experience strategies within the aviation sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with cabin crew management platforms is advantageous.
