About the Role – Brewery Logistics Manager Jobs in Ndola
As Brewery Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing brewery and regional distribution, fleet and safety, inventory, and warehousing functions. Your leadership will ensure customer service levels are optimized while meeting productivity benchmarks. You will implement standard operating procedures aligned with DPO and VPO frameworks and manage costs related to VLC, ZBB, and SCOH within annual flexed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet & Safety: Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and governance codes. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and quarterly safety reviews. Maintain company fleet in optimal condition and enforce safety protocols across all operations.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee logistics teams to adhere to AB InBev quality standards. Manage stock age and blocked stock to minimize risks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- DPO/VPO Compliance: Lead daily logistics meetings and enforce standardized processes. Monitor KPIs rigorously and apply problem-solving methodologies to address performance deviations.
- Service Level Management: Maintain strong relationships with carriers and regional distributors. Collaborate with planning and sales teams to support inventory policies and service level agreements, ensuring smooth brewery throughput.
- Cost Management: Drive strict adherence to budgets across delivery, warehouse, fleet, and inventory functions. Take accountability for brewery logistics expenditures and manage over/underspend reporting.
- People Leadership: Align shop floor teams with company goals through regular reviews and coaching. Foster a positive industrial relations environment and promote continuous improvement and talent development.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or higher qualification in Logistics or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ managerial experience in FMCG, distribution, or supply chain planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and customer service principles.
- Credibility and familiarity with local market environments.
