Key Responsibilities for Bonded Warehouse Operations Manager Jobs in Chambishi

• Manage and supervise day-to-day bonded warehouse activities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse processes to optimize flow.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain compliance with Zambian Customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures.
• Facilitate customs clearance by liaising with customs authorities and clearing agents.
• Maintain precise inventory records and oversee stock control measures.
• Monitor warehouse documentation to ensure all bonded goods movements are properly recorded.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in warehouse operations.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of customs clearance procedures within Zambia.
• Strong understanding of bonded warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Proven leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Proficiency in warehouse/inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• High levels of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
