Available Contract Positions at BEM Motors

We have a total of 11 openings distributed among three key roles: Truck Drivers, Coach Drivers, and a Safety Officer. Each position offers a chance to contribute to a respected company with a strong reputation for quality transport services.

Truck Drivers (5 Positions)

Location: Various Stations Nationwide

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company trucks transporting goods, adhering strictly to road traffic laws and company policies.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Valid PSV/DG Driver’s Licence
• Minimum of three years’ experience driving heavy commercial trucks
• Good mechanical knowledge
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offenses
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations
• Physically fit for long-distance assignments
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Coach Drivers (5 Positions)

Location: Various Stations Nationwide

Coach Drivers will deliver safe and customer-focused passenger transport services while upholding professionalism and road safety standards.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Valid PSV/P Driver’s Licence
• At least five years’ experience driving passenger coaches
• Good mechanical background
• Defensive driving certification is an advantage
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of road safety regulations
• High integrity and professionalism

Safety Officer (1 Position)

Location: Various Stations Nationwide

The Safety Officer will promote occupational health, safety, and environmental standards to reduce workplace risks and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or related field
• Registration with the Zambia Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (where applicable)
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience
• Strong analytical and report-writing abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
