Position Overview

The role also involves addressing customer inquiries and performing administrative duties aligned with FINCA Zambia’s Banking Hall Policy and other relevant procedures.

Key Responsibilities for Banking Officer Jobs in Zambia

• Manage front office operations, ensuring compliance with operational procedures to minimize exceptions during branch audits and risk inspections.
• Complete and submit all required reports promptly to the Back Office Team Lead.
• Maintain high-quality transaction documentation and ensure effective turnaround times.
• Accurately capture and input data into the core banking system at all times.
• Process timely loan originations according to the day’s disbursement schedule, adhering to prescribed forms and procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints by providing clear guidance and relevant information.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively in both positive and challenging situations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related business discipline.
• Experience in teller operations or a client-facing role with a strong focus on cash management as a key performance indicator.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
