About the Role – Auto Electrician Jobs in Kitwe

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles. Located in the Kamfinsa area along the Kitwe-Ndola dual carriageway, Wideway International values expertise and precision in servicing vehicle electrical components to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, ignition, and battery systems
• Diagnose electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools and software
• Maintain and service alternators, starters, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs)
• Ensure all work complies with Zambian roadworthiness and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere strictly to workshop safety protocols

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems
• Craft or Advanced Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics, Automotive Electrical, or a related field
• Valid driver’s licence
• Professional affiliation with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is desirable
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills with a commitment to workshop safety and best practices
