Key Responsibilities for Audit Manager Jobs in Lusaka

• Develop a deep understanding of audit methodologies through training and practical application, ensuring high-quality audit execution.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all audit working papers in compliance with methodology requirements.
• Demonstrate professional skepticism by critically evaluating audit findings and supporting observations with evidence.
• Support induction and mentoring of new team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Engage in additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor, including managing Issue Assurance and contributing to data analytics initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Management Studies, Accounting, or Auditing.
• Professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing are required.
• Proven experience in audit planning, execution, and reporting within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of key regulatory frameworks including FIC, KYC, AML, and Sanctions relevant to the assigned business units.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to produce concise, accurate, and insightful audit observations.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and present confidently at governance forums.
• Experience in using data analytics to support audit activities is highly desirable.
