About the Asset Recovery Officer Role

As an Asset Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for physically locating, securing, and repossessing defaulted motor vehicles in compliance with company policies and relevant laws. You will work closely with tracking agencies, investigators, and internal teams to ensure accurate asset identification and timely recovery. Your role also involves thorough inspections, documentation, and reporting to support the company’s risk management objectives.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Certificate or Diploma in Business, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in asset recovery, repossessions, or field collections.
• Strong problem-solving skills with effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Analytical mindset combined with a customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in reporting and solid understanding of asset secured lending products.
• Technical competence in MS Office applications and familiarity with internal repossession systems.
• Knowledge of asset inspection standards, checklist procedures, and documentation protocols.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
