Key Responsibilities for Artisan Hose Assembly Jobs in Solwezi

• Adhere strictly to all company policies, health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Participate in daily safety briefings at the start of each shift.
• Assemble hoses for industrial and hydraulic applications using various hose types.
• Follow safety procedures as outlined in the company’s Safety Manual System at all times.
• Conduct low and high pressure testing on hoses and related equipment in line with mining regulations.
• Identify and correctly use different hose types and fittings as required by end users.
• Operate hose assembly machinery and equipment proficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair grease and hydraulic pumps as assigned by the workshop foreman.
• Install and repair hose reels, fuel nozzles, and associated equipment on service trucks and bays.
• Provide technical support on hydraulic and pneumatic components throughout the mine.
• Complete pre-start checklists for workshop equipment before commencing work.
• Promote teamwork and good working practices within the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the workshop foreman.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Certificate or Diploma in a mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification.
• ZAQA certification is required.
• Possession of a Grade 12 school certificate or equivalent.
• Holding an EIZ certificate is advantageous.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in hydraulic hose assembly.
