Key Responsibilities for Area Business Manager Jobs in Zambia

• Supervise sales and collections while managing the direct distribution of Sun King™ products through a network of Field Sales Executives (FSEs).
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new FSEs to expand the sales force representing Sun King EasyBuy products.
• Monitor and evaluate FSE productivity and performance, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed effectively.
• Deliver continuous training to FSEs covering sales techniques, collections, customer service, product knowledge, and inventory management.
• Conduct daily market visits to address challenges faced by FSEs and customers, providing timely solutions.
• Ensure FSEs offer exceptional customer support, including prospecting, sales initiation, product installation, payment guidance, and after-sales warranty assistance.
• Enforce compliance with sales policies and processes across the team to maintain consistent standards.
• Stay informed about market trends and opportunities for expansion to support business growth.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Possess a degree or diploma in a business-related discipline, or have at least two years of experience in a field sales role within FMCG, microfinance, banking, or telecommunications sectors.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the lives of rural consumers through your work.
• Exhibit diligence, accuracy, and reliability in all tasks.
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language is essential for effective communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to support reporting and administrative duties.
