Role Overview: Analyst Condition Monitoring Jobs in Kalumbila

The primary purpose of this role is to collect and analyze condition monitoring data to identify equipment performance parameters that deviate from acceptable limits. By leveraging predictive maintenance techniques, you will support the Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) work identification process, ensuring plant equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct condition monitoring field inspections and adhere to monitoring checklists under guidance from the Senior Condition Monitoring Analyst.
  • Collect and analyze data from rotating equipment using online and offline acquisition techniques with advanced portable data collectors.
  • Identify and report equipment performance deviations through predictive maintenance methods, generating RPAC work orders in Pronto.
  • Shortlist and report defects to support CBM activities and provide proactive maintenance data to planners and execution teams.
  • Perform extensive analysis of vibration, thermographic, ultrasound, and other diagnostic data to troubleshoot machinery and recommend remedial actions.
  • Maintain computerized systems with up-to-date condition monitoring data and produce regular reports on equipment status.
  • Execute post-repair analyses to enhance diagnostic accuracy and continuously improve data collection methodologies.
  • Research and implement new predictive maintenance techniques and automation opportunities, integrating existing online monitoring sensors and transmitters.
  • Contribute to health, safety, and environmental management by identifying risks, promoting sustainable practices, and participating in safety meetings.
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships and respond promptly to service requests, striving to enhance maintenance and operational experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years maintenance experience within the mining industry.
  • Proficient in maintenance and reliability systems such as ERP, CMMS, SCADA, OsiSoft PI, or similar databases.
  • Experience working with fixed plant facilities and familiarity with equipment strategy methodologies including RCM, FMEA, and TPM.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contamination control and equipment health report development.
  • Strong competency in predictive maintenance techniques, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT), thermography, and health monitoring.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
  • Educational background: Grade 12 certificate required; tertiary or trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines are highly desirable.
